01 · The ritual
A ritual in every glass
Why a ritual? Because wine is the slowest thing we still share. A vine gives one harvest a year, and a great bottle may wait decades for its hour. When at last it is opened, it asks something of us in return: to slow down, to gather, to be fully present. Someone chooses a bottle with a person in mind. A table is laid. The cork yields, the first pour travels the table, and for a moment everyone leans in.
It is one of the oldest communions we know. Long before there were words for friendship, there was a cup passed from hand to hand. To pour for another is to offer a season of sun and rain, a single place, a year that will never return. Around that glass, strangers become guests and guests become kin. Stories surface that would be told nowhere else: a confession, a toast, the memory of someone absent. What passes between us is never only wine. It is time, trust, and the quiet recognition that we are here, together, and that this hour matters.
Yet the ritual is fragile. The glasses empty, the table is cleared, and what was felt there survives only in the memory of whoever was present. We believe such moments deserve to be kept.
SipSip exists to bring people to the table and to remember what happened there, so that every glass can become what it was always meant to be: a ritual.

04 · Sommelier
A sommelier who listens
Knowing a little more makes every glass richer. Why this grape, why this hillside, why that year was the one.
SipSip puts a sommelier at every table. Ask about any bottle on any post, or call on it in the middle of a party chat, and the answer arrives for everyone at once. With your permission, it learns your taste.

Start with the Chablis. Its bright acidity wakes the palate and suits the oysters. Open the Barolo now so it can breathe, and pour it with the lamb.05 · Venues
A curated list of wine-focused venues
Anyone can add a bar or restaurant to SipSip. Only a few earn a place on our recommended list, and each is told the way wine people want to read it: the story of the cellar, the sommelier behind it, the vintages worth crossing town for, and the facts that make a list worth trusting.
Diners no longer come for the food alone. The right pairing lifts every dish and turns dinner into an occasion, and more and more guests choose where to eat by the wine list.
SipSip is built to bring millions of wine lovers to the right table. List your venue with us and tell the stories behind your wines.
In the app: free listing, owners verified by our team · a recommended list curated for wine, told through its cellar, its people and its pours · corkage, wine list, glassware and sommelier on every venue page · ratings for pairing, glassware, service and the list · a small fee applies per guest who arrives.

03 · Social
Social: the community that keeps your moments and shapes your taste
A great wine, whether a masterpiece like Romanée-Conti 1945 or a beautifully crafted South African Cabernet, is never only a drink. Opening one is an occasion, a status made real: to pour it is to take your place in the long history of wine, a mark of standing and of taste earned over a lifetime. What endures is who sat beside you, and the story told as the glass came round. SipSip is here to help you share and celebrate those moments with the community.
On SipSip, sharing means leaving a record. Long after the glasses are empty, SipSip keeps it all: one photo of the table names every bottle, and your taste journal will always be captured.
